NPR is streaming the Avett Brothers‘ forthcoming album, I and Love and You (but you’d better get in quick before it expires). It’s their first major label release, and, as Payton points out, the banjo has mostly been buried — except on January Wedding, which is, not coincidentally, the best track on the album.
